Dear Reader,
In massage school, I met a lot of hippies. Too many to count. Despite my confusion with words such as 'Qi', 'Reiki', 'energy work', 'Pendulum', and 'yogi', the hippies were all such nice people! Every. Single. One.
I was only 19 when I underwent my massage training. Several classmates loathed the hippies calling them tree-huggers.
Being raised in a Western culture without all the hippie stuff, it was easy to follow the in-crowd's beliefs. What they did not know was my later classes in my massage training was going to be very Asian-theory based!
I took toe-reading, Intro to Eastern energy theory, flower essences, aromatherapy, Intro to Western herbalism and several Reflexology courses! These were some of the best years of my young life. I soon realized the hippies know what they are doing!
Fast-forward to after I became an LMT. I knew people whom had their 'thing'. A few examples were Reiki masters, astrologists, herbalists, yogis…..I became concerned. I questioned who I am. What am I connected to and will be known for? The answer soon came.
One day I randomly got bruising all over my body and every day new bruises would appear. Iron supplements did not work. Then I remembered something I was taught in one of my classes….making a crystal essence!
Up went the google homepage on my laptop as I searched the subject of crystal healing. It was magical. I picked up the first crystal my energetic body had a reaction to. The raw honey calcite/hematite combination crystal vibrated in my palms. I knew this crystal was the one.
Naturally I held the crystal when I had the chance and put on my bedside when I slept. Within two days, my bruising went away and I picked up my first experience with crystal healing!!
Crystal healing is one of my passions and will be writing about from time to time. For those interested, remember there is 'no right way' and every experience is an on-going learning process.
Thanks for reading!
Blessings,
